Tom Brady Hasn’t Registered His Pit Bull with Boston Animal Control |
According to the city of Boston, Tom Brady’s new pet has not been registered with Boston Animal Control..The city has issued more than 500 citations to Pit Bull owners who haven’t registered, but Tommy hasn’t received one yet..Boston has an ordinance which requires owners of pit bulls to register the dog with Animal Control..According to the ordinance, the dog must be muzzled in public, and owners are required to post a sign reading “Pit Bull Dog” or “Beware Of Dog” on their property..Brady went on WEEI’s “Dennis & Callahan” show yesterday and said his Pit Lua, is “a great family dog” and doesn’t have “an aggressive bone in her body.”..Tom getting preferential treatment in Boston? Nooo..he did register his wife as a Super Model though..even though it wasn’t required..-TO

What a douchbag.

That is not a pit bull. How do I know? Because I have Lua’s brother. I changed his name to Brady for obvious reasons and he looks as identical as a littermate can. He is a love bug and has reacted to varied circumstances with restraint and control. I’m sure that Lua has had just as much love and way better training than my dog. I think that the breeder claimed that our dogs were a cross between a staffordshire terrier and a staffordshire bull. The staffordshires are often called the “nanny” dog because they are so good with children. They have the physical prowess of the pits but not the temperment. Register that.
Lua is NOT a pit bull! I have her twin sister and a DNA test showed 75% Staffordshire bull terrier and 20% boston terrier and a bit of wiemeriener in them. Ours is a sweet natured dog who is awesome with the family and even better with our handicapped child. People need to do a little more research before they speak out.
On the bright side: Tom has not been cited for electrocuting his dog to death.
Staffy’s and AmStaffs are also considered “Pit Bulls” under BSL laws and mixes of those dogs also fall under the category. DNA tests are NOT reliable, and anyone who even remotely looks into them would know this.
Andy, these dogs were apparently rescued from a shelter, so how do you know about the breeder?
Nicole- if you actually have a littermate of bracts dog you clearly need to do a lot more research since a stadfordshire terrier is a pit bull!! And Boston breed specific laws are discriminatory and wrong. It includes pit bulls/staffie mixes. Pit bulls are friendly dogs! They love people but they were bred for dog fighting so be careful around other dogs.
There is no actual breed “pitbull” AmStaf, American Bulldog, Staffordshire Terrier, Bull Terrier, are all lumped into the “pitbull” category. These dogs are very smart and their desire to please their owner, is what has made them desirable to dog fighting rings. They are stubborn and don’t easily give up when they set their minds to something. This also makes them great companions. They stick to their person like velcro! I would allow my dogs around any children, but I wouldn’t leave children alone with any dog!
