NBC’s Rodney Harrison joined the show to discuss the latest controversy with Terrell Owens. Here are some of his takes …– Dan asked him what he thought of T.O. bashing him on Twitter. Here are some of Harrison’s responses: “When it comes down to it, I’m a champion. He’ll never have that on his resume. He’ll never be a champion. He’ll look at his stats and say I was a great football player, but I was never a champion.” “You always have to stand up and be accountable for your actions. As a football player you have to be accountable. Regardless of whether you had 10 catches or zero catches.” “I’m not jealous. I’m very happy. I don’t need the attention. If you don’t want to hear it, go out and play better.” — Harrison also shot down stories that Randy Moss is dogging it in New England. “The guy works his butt off in practice,” Harrison said. “The man is a professional. I was a critical of Randy Moss before I knew him. But getting to know him, he was great.” Harrison said the speculation Moss wanted to be elsewhere was ridiculous. “The guy loves New England,” Harrison said. “He loves Tom Brady. they’re like Best friends. He loves Bill Belichick.” Harrison explained Moss’ role in the offense and why that may give off the impression that he’s not trying hard every play. “Randy’s not a Hines Ward,” Harrison said. “He’s not going to go and knock your helmet off. It seems Terrell will have a successful career off the football field too as the “The T.O. Show” has been a ratings hit for VH1 with an average of over 1.5 million viewers per episode.
