Brother From Another Mother |
These two definitely share the same mother. One is gay and the other is loved by a gay named rod. -TO

Once again, the Yankees showed off their pull. With the help of former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer, a longtime Yankees fan, a group of 22 players and coaches toured the White House. The White House travel roster included Xavier Nady, Nick Swisher, Cody Ransom, Edward Ramirez, Jose Veras, Phil Coke, Jonathan Albaladejo, Ramiro Pena and Joba Chamberlain. Coaches Kevin Long, Dave Eiland, Mike Harkey, Mick Kelleher and Rob Thomson also tagged along. – Newark Star-Ledger Jeter and Gayrod didn’t show. The Rod is still chasing ski hunks and Jeter has been there done that. Maybe they were together that day? Rumor has it they are fighting right now.. Who knows, what Gayrod wants, Gayrod Gets. -TO
Alex Rodriguez will conclude the first stages of his rehab from hip surgery in Colorado this week and then head to Tampa next week to start taking swings, according to the New York Daily News.Yankees’ manager Joe Girardi confirmed A-Rod will be headed to Florida. “He said he feels great,” Girardi said. “He wished us good luck and told us to keep it going. He’s in a good frame of mind and his rehab is going well, so you just hope he doesn’t have any setbacks.” Rodriguez’s initial diagnosis following the surgery was six to nine weeks, setting him up for a return sometime between late April and early May. Both Girardi and general manager Brian Cashman have projected a May 15 return all along, though Rodriguez has told both that he plans on being back before that date, the Daily News reported.Source: New York Daily News The Yanks are off to a bad start without the Rod. If they don’t make the playoffs again, Giradi will be axed. Everything falls on gayrod to right the ship. The Rod is almost done chasing ski hunks and has his sights set on Jeter now. -TO
Alex Rodriguez thinks he can return from hip surgery prior to May 15, and though the Yankees would certainly welcome their cleanup hitter back before then, GM Brian Cashman isn’t betting on it. “He’s hoping it’s sooner, and that would be nice. … They’ve done MRIs … and it all comes up as extremely encouraging from the doctor’s perspective, which means it’s extremely encouraging for us,” Cashman said. “But it’s always that way. You’re told it’s all good, you hope it’s going to be good, but even when he comes back you’re going to be wondering, no matter what.” Cashman said Rodriguez – who, according to Joe Girardi, has added playing catch to his rehab program in Colorado – could start working out at the Yankees’ minor league complex in Tampa “around the Tampa Bay series (April 13-15) or a little earlier. The target date is floating.” – NY Post No way Gayrod comes back early. He is in over his head like usual. If he thinks spending time in Veil chasing ski hunks is rehab, he’s got a few surprises when he rejoins his team. I know he misses the shit out of Jeter. He is seriously in love with Jeter. -TO
1: New York Yankees’ third baseman Alex Rodriguez is the highest paid player in baseball, with an annual salary of $28,000,000. 2: Los Angeles Dodgers’ left fielder Manny Ramirez is second with $22,500,000. 3: New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter with $21,600,000. 4: New York Mets’ center fielder Carlos Beltran with $18,622,809. 5: Seattle Mariners’ right fielder Ichiro Suzuki with $17,102,149. 6: New York Mets’ pitcher Johan Santana with $16,984,216. 7: Colorado Rockies’ first baseman Todd Helton with $16,600,000. 8: Los Angeles Angels’ center fielder Torii Hunter with $16,500,000. 9: New York Mets’ first baseman Carlos Delgado with $16,000,000. 10: New York Yankees’ pitcher Andy Pettitte with $16,000,000. 11: Chicago Cubs’ pitcher Carlos Zambrano with $16,000,000. 12: Detroit Tigers’ right fielder Magglio Ordonez with $15,768,174. 13: Chicago White Sox designated hitter Jim Thome with $15,666,666. 14: Los Angeles Angels’ right fielder Vladimir Guerrero with $15,500,000. 15: Atlanta Braves’ pitcher Tim Hudson with $15,500,000. With a slow economy these “players” aren’t exactly feeling the credit crunch. Who is the most surprising slugger on the list? Love to hear your guys thoughts…. My vote is for Gayrod. Overpaid, Overhyped, and over Highlighted. -TO
Derek Jeter likes to live large — real large. The Yankee captain is building a gigantic, 30,875-square-foot mansion with seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms on Davis Islands in Tampa. But some locals believe Jeter isn’t thinking clearly when it comes to building in today’s economy. One insider mused to Page Six: “Can you hurricane-proof a house that big on the waterfront? And how much water and electricity will it take to run a house like that? Also, does Derek already have a possible wife in mind who’s helping him plan? Because, news flash to him: No woman in her right mind is going to move into a 31,000-square-foot house unless she has had input on how it’s decorated.” Still, Jeter must know something he already owns a five-bedroom, five-bathroom spread in nearby Avila. – NY Post Jeter has earned the right to do whatever he wants. He is at the top of his pimp game, and a house like that will only solidify his standing as America’s #1 Bachelor. Gayrod even wants him. -TO
Derek Jeter probably answering more annoying questions about Gayrod. That’s all Jeter does, answer questions about the Rod. It must get annoying. F.U. Gayrod. -TO
![]() You guys on spring break? TAMPA, Fla. — Derek Jeter finally got to experience playing against the New York Yankees. “It was strange running to the other dugout. I almost ran to the other side a couple times,” he said. Normally the Yankees captain, Jeter played for the United States ahead of the World Baseball Classic and hit a two-run single in the third inning of the Americans’ 6-5 victory over New York on Tuesday. Jeter went 2-for-4 with a walk in a contest that “seemed like an intrasquad game” to him. After the Yankees went up in the first on Jorge Posada’s RBI single, Jeter put the U.S. ahead 2-1 with a two-out single off Phil Hughes. “It’s a good feeling,” Jeter said. “You have a sense of pride when you’re out there playing.” Jeter started the day as a Yankee, working out in New York’s weight room before the game and then returning to his regular clubhouse.
