Almost a month to the day after his participation in the All-Star Game Home Run Derby, Albert Pujols will take part in a made-for-network-TV “reality show.” While the Cardinals granted grudging acceptance to Pujols’ participation in the July derby, the Cardinals front office and marketing department has fully endorsed this week’s spectacle, which is open to select River City Rascals season ticket-holders but apparently off limits to media. “Shaq Vs.” pairs Shaquille O’Neal against elite athletes in a variety of sports.
