The state of Rhode Island has sued former MLB pitching legend Curt Schilling over failed $75 million loan guarantee for 38 Studios, his former Video game company. The lawsuit, filed in R.I. Superior Court, names Schilling, and 38 Studios former chief executive and chief financial officers. According to the AP, “”This vote was not taken lightly, and it was taken with the clear goal of protecting the taxpayers of Rhode Island,” Chafee said in his video statement.
