NHL team fakes Valentine’s Day wedding proposal |
The Fake Engagement?
The Valentine’s Day highlight came at 10:19 of the second period when the scoreboard flashed a proposal from Nick to Melissa to be his “Blueshirt Bride.” But the apparently unhappy woman berated her boyfriend then stood up and stormed off, with the man chasing her out of the stands. However, two Madison Square Garden sources said it was a hoax designed by the real-life couple and without the knowledge of the Garden. –Bergen Record
