Why are you always hating on Lebron James?
He obviously didn’t order the cake. It was the Hotel. He didn’t ask for that lady to make him a free cake. He can buy 1,000 cakes if he wants!
She is just bitter that her free cake was poorly looking. He had already order his cake and paid for it for the other place Devine Delicacies. Which by looking at their Facebook they create not only his past cakes but Dwyane wade, Chris bosh and his wife Adrienne.

Stop hating on Lebron James just because a cake!

From what I can see, the Miami bakery made the better cake.
There is definitely no need to be so bitter about it. I mean, this lady sounds like a sore loser.
The white cake is SO classy and elegant… The red one looks like anyone could’ve made it.

All of you women are nuts and probably work for Devine Delicacies. Passion for Pastry must have been asked to create a cake for Lebron. In return they probably offered her some good publicity. I am sure Labron had nothing to do with ordering either cake. He has people for that. There was obviously miscommunication somewhere. You are all hating on someone you don’t even know. why would the hotel though order a cake without making sure Lebron james people hadnt order one already?

i think that was the problem with all this!
the hotel was desperate and they called the boca raton bakery.(pastry cake)
while in the other hand his team had order the cake with who they always order from (Divine delicacies).

I personally think if maybe the Boca raton cake would have looked presentable they may hae used it too. he would have had two cakes. but by the cake looking very ugly then they decided to only used the one they order.
i dont know i wasnt there but i do think Lebron’s team didnt want to uses a bakery they had never used before even if it was free.

I in the other hand would just talk with the hotel. Her cake was something extra they didnt need or liked.
i would have stayed with the one they choosed all the way!!!

The turth about all of these comments is that none of you know the truth. There are 3 sides to this story. Why do you all insist on bad mouthing someone you don’t even know? I think you all suck and personally I think Devine Delicacies sucks for stooping to this level and writing about a company and a woman they know nothing about. GROW UP! As for the “bad” pictures that are out there, it’s probably because Devine Delicacies was jealous that another baker was called so they destroyed her cake when they saw it so it counldn’t be used.

The woman is so jealous of the Miami bakery “Divine Delicacies” She is putting a fight over a little cake off. Get over it!! Your cake wasnt fit enough for Lebron James. I for curiosity went on Divine Delicacies website and saw better cakes than this lady. Plus they not only make cake s for Lebron James but to the other well known athletes like Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. You can see he loves their extravagant cakes. This women was just trying to get some attention by offering a FREE CAKE but at least try to make a cake that would be as NICE as he is used too. Anyways, I’m glad The Lebron People rejected and had instead Divine Delicacies Created. I read in another blog that lebron’s team had already order the cake from this bakery the next day and that the hotel was the one that didnt know and asked this women to create it for free. She needs to stop going to the media, she has no PRIDE what so ever!
If I was her I would stick on creating ONLY CAKES for 1-6 year old cakes.
PS:Lebron has the right to choose what ever cake he feels like to eat. He paid for the one his team ordered and didnt asked this mediocre cake. The cake that got the publicity was the BEST One! GO LEBRON!!!!!

Hicksmans Cake for Lebron is a Joke. I don’t think the whole Chanel 7 thing was the right call from her. Just hired a lawyer. Everything behind this is more than money but her 2 minutes of fame. To be honest, this is not a good one. freebie for attention seems like desperation to me. this is what she gets. It wasn’t the other bakers fault and now this Crazy lady it’s trying to get the attention, bcuz she woke up new years looking at the Miami bakery cake next to Lebron.

ok so i’m just catching up on all the updates but the articles CLEARLY state that 2 different groups ordered the cakes. Passion for pastry was contacted but reps from the hotel while Divine Delicacies what hired buy the team. so if she really has an issue she should take it up with them. Lebron didn’t order the cake so why should he pay for it? it seems to me like there was a communication issue between the team and the hotel. If Divine Delicacies makes all the cakes for the team’s events why wouldn’t they make this one?
Hickman’s Cake was Horrible!!! Lebron doesn’t need to address anything to this lady and her poorly done cake. She has gotten publicity from Lebron. She should be ashame of herself for that cake and this Drama she has caused.
Everyone STOP blaming Lebron for this.
