Former American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson is a native of Fort Worth, Texas who claims she’s been a Dallas Cowboys fan since the day she was born. Pepsi recently teamed with the NFL and four artists to write and perform songs focused on their hometown teams. The other singer/songwriters involved in the project include Ice Cube, Kid Rock and Travie McCoy. “When you’re born in Fort Worth, you come out of the womb loving the Cowboys,” Clarkson told USAToday.com. “In Texas, people love football more than anything. Once they find out about this, I’ll be golden.” The Cowboys are still America’s Team, but if they don’t win something soon, they will surely have to relinquish that title.
