Jerry Jones Meets With Nick Saban About Cowboys |
Jerry Jones was in Vegas the other day, drowning his sorrows after a tough week which saw him fire Head Coach Wade Phillips..Jerry enjoyed the drinks and female companionship in Sin City, and then went back to the business of finding a New Head Football coach for the Dallas Cowboys…According to my sources, Jones flew from Vegas to Tuscaloosa on his private jet to pay University of Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban a visit..Saban has been lured to the NFL once before..but ultimately felt much more in control coaching at the College level..My sources tell me Jerry put out a feeler to Saban about possibly coaching the Cowboys next season..In order to get Saban to leave Alabama, Jones would have to pay him an extraordinary amount of cash..I think Jerry is reaching on this one..but I don’t blame him for taking a shot. -TO
