I agree it looks bad for him to be out in the public eye after all this scrutiny. However, as an acl-tear survivor, I can tell you that you can walk perfectly fine once the swelling goes down. It hurts like a sonofabitch when you tear it, but afterwards you’re pretty okay. I don’t know how much different the mcl might feel, but I can’t imagine it’s much worse, especially if it’s only a partial tear.

A sprained knee calls for athletic tape – a lot of it – especially during an important game. So I’m just gonna say it: Jay sprained his ego on the field and couldn’t play. Every good athlete knows playing is mostly mental.
