George Lucas Tries to Stop Raiders Vader Shirt From Being Sold

So much for using the force for good — Lucasfilm Ltd. sent this faxed notice to paypal, and the shirt makers credit card processor to stop them from selling the shirts above. Paypal warned them they five days to remove the items from their website. As you can see, Lucas objected to “STAR WARS Copyrights and trademarks; DARTH VADER, They state “these pages offer products that infringe the STAR WARS Copyrights and Trademarks. They are not produced by any of the Lucasfilm Ltd. Licensees.”The letter was sent and signed by the contract administrator of the anti-piracy dept. of Lucasfilm Ltd. located in San Francisco, California. Talk about an evil empire.
