Dennis Rodman Arrives in Rome Campaigning for Black Pope

The New York Post reported today that the NBA Hall of Famer planned to arrive at St. Peter’s Square in a custom “pope-mobile,” but that didn’t exactly happen — Rodman is in Rome actively campaigning for Ghanaian Cardinal Peter Turkson. Turkson would be the first black pope — Rodman’s head-turning trip comes less than a month after he visited North Korea, where he became the first American to meet with Kim Jong Un.
