Blake Griffin Leaving for NBA to be #1 Pick |
NORMAN, Okla. (AP)—It appears Oklahoma sophomore Blake Griffin has made his decision regarding the NBA draft.
Griffin and Oklahoma coach Jeff Capel will hold a news conference Tuesday afternoon at which time the AP player of the year is expected to announce whether he will enter the draft.
Most experts believe the 6-foot-10 forward would be the first pick in the draft on June 25.
Underclassmen have until April 26 to declare for the draft and until June 15 to withdraw.
Griffin led the Sooners to a 30-6 season, averaging 22.7 points and a nation-leading 14.4 rebounds.
Griffin will leave because he is confident that he will go # 1. Sure he can dominate at the college level, but like most ballers, he will follow the green and enter the draft. Hansbrough stayed an extra year and it will end up costing him millions of dollars. Championships are nice, but lots of money is nicer…-TO

Her loss. She knows what will happen in the future!
