Yesterday the Dallas Cowboys girlfriends watched from up above as their boyfriends got in a practice..Tony Romo’s girlfriend Candice Crawford hung with Miles Austin’s girl Kim Kardashian in a skybox at the Alamodome..Team owner Jerry Jones told The Associated Press he “almost swallowed” his sandwich earlier when he ran into Austin and Kardashian having lunch with Romo…The Dallas Drama is going to be heavy this year..that’s why they call it the Big D..-TO

Dallas Cowboys Tony Romo had a dude day at Six Flags over Texas..The quarterback was hanging with his girlfriend’s brother and actor Chace Crawford at the amusement park..Tony and Chace rode on the Titan, the Shockwave, Batman: The Ride, and Superman..and overall had a really great bonding experience..no word yet on if Tony won Chace a stuffed animal..-TO

Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo is one of 36 players competing for two spots in a 36-hole sectional qualifier at The Club at Carlton Woods today.. Romo survived a four-man playoff on May 20th to advance to the sectional qualifier. Romo passed up a qualifier for the Byron Nelson Championship that week because it conflicted with a Cowboys practice. The NFL team resumes offseason training activities Tuesday..If I’m a Cowboys fan I have to wonder about his commitment to football..-TO

The Dallas CowboysTony Romo is an off-season golfer..He recently applied to compete in U.S. Open qualifiers this year..Charles Barkley is a talking head..and people love to hear him weigh in on every topic under the sun..In an interview with ESPN, Chuck was asked what he thought of Tony Romo playing competitive golf in the off-season..Sir Charles had this to say..”No and actually, I think it will help him. The level of concentration it takes to get through all the qualifiers, I think it probably does make him a better football player. And from a common sense standpoint, clearly he’s under a tremendous amount of pressure, so I think it would help him in football, more than anything. The level of concentration, the stuff he has to go through on a golf course and attention to detail, I think it really does help in football and he’ll probably tell you that.” I wonder if Chuck’s golf game helped his hoops game out..highly unlikely with that swing..To hear the Barkley Interview click here. -TO

Tony Romo will make an appearance on The Biggest Loser: Couples in an episode that airs Tuesday, May 11 on NBC. According to the release from NBC, trainer Bob surprises the reality show contestants with a visit from Tony while the group is out shopping. Romo tells the Bigs about how they have become inspirational role models and joins them on a hike. Tony shot the segments with the cast in late February..I will be checking it out for sure..-TO

Tony Romo dumped Jessica Simpson last July..by doing so he lifted the Cowboys Playoff curse and everyone was happy..everyone but Jessica..While Tony has found his rock in Candice Crawford..Jessica has been searching for her next big thing..unfortunately my source tells me she’s still hung up on Tony.. Tony and Jessica ran into each other at last weekend’s Bloomberg/Vanity Fair after-party for the White House Association dinner. Simpson, Romo and Crawford chatted for about five minutes on the balcony. A witness told Us Magazine that the trio’s chat was “tense.”Adds another observer: “You could tell they were uncomfortable.” “It wasn’t awkward,” another source counters. “Candice didn’t say much. Jessica and Tony are still friends and talk. It was the first time Jessica met Candice.” The best play Tony has ever made was dumping that train wreck..-TO

Terez, I like to keep busy during the offseason..just like Big Ben..

According to USGA.com, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has applied to compete in U.S. Open qualifiers this year..Other athletes include John Smoltz, Ryan Longwell, Billy Joe Tolliver, Shane Rawley and former NHL and 2002 Olympic silver medalist goalie Mike Dunham. This will be Romo’s fourth attempt. He tried the last three U.S. Open tournaments but has failed to do so..You gotta respect his determination..but first I’d like to see him try and win a Super Bowl. -TO
