Terez, Ziggy ain't got nothing on me..
On Monday at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco the media was given a taste of the seventh annual RoboGames..The matach was between kicker Joe Nedney and a Robot in a kick off..The contest was billed Man vs. Machine. Nedney had a good chance, he is the most accurate accurate kicker 49ers history with 19 game winning field goals..His opponent, Ziggy, weighs in at 338 pounds and is made of titanium..The Zigster and Joe began kicking at the 20 (both made their attempts) and both converted from the 30. Finally both Nedney and Ziggy launched simultaneous attempts from 40 yards. Nedney’s ball split the uprights; and Ziggy’s missed to the left. “I beat a robot!” Nedney said, raising his hands in triumph.”Yeah, humans!” a spectator yelled..A RoboGames official gave Nedney his gold medal and once again humans triumphed over machines…Good looking out Joe.
