Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels and his famil adopted a baby girl from Ethiopia – Reeve Hamels. “To have her come home like literally as a Christmas present was unbelievable,” Heidi Hamels said. “The sense of joy overcomes anything. Philadelphia Phillies slugger is taking the plunge. Ryan Howard and his soon to be bride Krystle Campbell are scheduled to wed on Dec. 1st according to their online wedding registry. According to Philly.com, “The Most expensive item: A pair of Swarovski crystal toasting flutes. They seek three pairs at $390 per pair. Cheapest: 13-inch washcloths for $17. The couple are hoping to receive 6… Howard announced in April 2011 that he and Campbell, a schoolteacher and former Eagles cheerleader, were engaged” The Phillies have had a brutal season, so maybe this will bring Howard some happiness during the off season.-TO

Peirce, described in a Philadelphia court document as “an adult individual.’” Both chair and adult individual allegedly were tossed into a hotel pool by the big green perp.
