Brett Favre has been on a roller coaster of emotions the past week..and yesterday wasn’t any different..Word from Minnesota is Favre is extremely upset with some of his teammates after his tearful apology was leaked..My source tells me Favre had some words with kicker Ryan Longwell who spoke about the apology with ESPN’s Michelle Tafoya…The apology came pregame as Brett apologized to his teammates for the distractions caused by the controversy over naked dong photos he allegedly sent to former Jets employee Jenn Sterger. Asked about the apology after Monday Night’s loss to the Jets, he said: “That’s between me and my teammates, apparently not all of them.” Maybe Longwell secretly recorded the speech and will release it two years from now?? -TO

First, Randy Moss gets traded back to his old team the Vikings to team up with a living legend..Second, Brett Favre is returning to face his former team the Jets..These story lines got thrown out the window when pictures and voicemails surfaced last Thursday of Favre and his junk..Now the focus in on Brett and his aggressive tendencies on and off the field..Favre has had two separate occasions to refute the voicemails + pics..and two times he’s done nothing but fuel speculation further.. Thursday, Favre said: “I’m not getting into that. I’ve got my hands full with the Jets and am trying to get some timing down with our guys, so that’s all I’m going to discuss.” Asked again Sunday night during an ESPN production meeting, Favre said: “My main focus is the New York Jets. They are a tough team; as good as they are, that has been my focus. I hate in any way if this has been a distraction. Yesterday I reported the amount Deadspin supposedly paid for the now infamous Brett Favre pics and voicemails..My initial report had the selling price close to 75K..which now I’m being told was simply the starting point of the negotiations..Editor in Chief of Deadspin.com, A.J. Daulerio, has confirmed with me via email, that his website paid less than $20,000..A.J. wrote in a very bragadocious email..”$75k is not even close. NOT EVEN CLOSE. Try less than $20k” said Daulerio…I kindly emailed A.J. back asking him to reveal the seller, and how they acquired the voicemails and pics…Still waiting for a response on those burning questions..and here’s a few more..Why did Jenn Sterger save the voice messages if she didn’t intend on using them for personal gain?
