Michael Jordan Suing Dominicks For $5 Million Over Ad |
NBA Legend Michael Jordan is suing Dominick’s over use of name in an ad that appeared in a 2009 magazine — The former Bulls superstar was in Chicago on Wednesday for a settlement conference with U.S. District Judge Milton Shadur. Here’s the scoop from the Tribune, “”I thought the demand was greedy,” Shadur said of Jordan, who is seeking $5 million in damages for a one-page ad that ran in a Sports Illustrated commemorative issue celebrating Jordan’s induction into the Hall of Fame.” My feeling is Jordan worked hard as hell to build his brand, and should be paid, just not sure about 5 mill though.-TO
