Since Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Matt Kemp dropped ~~the extra baggage~~ Rihanna, he’s put up MVP type numbers…The triple crown threat was recently interviewed for Flaunt Magazine, where he discusses the kind of woman he’s looking for. “What do I look for?” he laughs. “I like confident people. I like positive people. Somebody that can make me a better person. Somebody that makes me want to be a better person. Smart. Pretty, of course. Somebody that is close with their family and loves their family just as much as I love my family. Somebody that knows how to dress. It just boils down to being confident and being comfortable in your own skin and the person that you are.”Kemp won’t win the MVP, that’s going to Ryan Braun, but boy did he have one hell of a year. -TO

Good thing I have American friends with me T...

Here is a very interesting story…My friend over at Zack Taylor.CA (the .ca stands for Canada) attended his first Los Angeles Dodgers last night and was shocked when he was denied a cold one…Here’s the scoop from Zack himself: “I tried ordering a regular over-priced beer from one of the Levy Restaurants concession stands, when I was quickly REJECTED by the server because he didn’t recognize my Canadian identification. So, obviously being the calm, polite Canadian I am, I asked to speak with his manager, named Chad, who came over and looked at my I.D. and said, “We do not serve Canadians here. We only serve people with American identification cards… That’s our rule. We have the right to refuse service to whomever we want, and if you don’t like it, you can leave.” Ouch…this is absolutely ridiculous and par for the course for the idiotic Dodgers organization. You’d figure they’d sell beer to kids if they could make a buck. -TO

You know couples that decide for one reason or another to take their wedding festivities to the ballpark…Well, not a huge fan of that move…So many things can go wrong…Like for instance, here is one particular Atlanta couple that was getting married at Turner Field… They were taking pics to commemorate their special day amongst the peanut shells and beer soaked stands…and while the pics were snapping, Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp decided to photobomb the couple…Kemp did his best to get in frame…and now I have the utmost respect for the Dodgers All-Star outfielder…Job well done Kemp. -TO

Finally, the ridiculousness that is the Dodgers is getting somewhere…Today, the Dodgers filed for bankruptcy protection in a Delaware court, squarely placing the blame on MLB for refusing to approve a multibillion-dollar TV deal that owner Frank McCourt was counting on to keep the troubled team afloat…The Chapter 11 financing permits the Dodgers to use $150 million for daily operations and buys time for the team to seek a media deal and ensure the team’s long-term financial stability, the Dodgers said in a news release. “There will be no disruption to the Dodgers day-to-day business, the baseball team, or to the Dodger fans,” the statement said…MLB didn’t approve any TV deal because they clearly want to get rid of the McCourts…Isn’t that obvious.. -TO
