According to multiple reports, the NBA Hall of Famer’s son Connor had pot on him when he was arrested on Sunday after a dispute with his former girlfriend ended with him allegedly attempting to hit her with his car on the Indiana University campus — The fight between the two apparently started in Bird’s apartment where he threw a cell phone at his ex, cops say. Lombardi has been an unexpected smash hit on Broadway, so naturally producers are now trying to produce more sports themed stage adaptations…Next up Magic/Bird….”“Magic/Bird” is being developed by the producers and writer of the current Broadway show “Lombardi,” and is scheduled to debut in 2012, according to a news release.” Magic Bird was the greatest  friendship/rivalry the NBA has ever seen…How will it translate to the stage?? I personally would watch hours upon hours of highlight footage rather than go see a play about Larry and Magic..Maybe a John Wooden show would be a better idea…-TO
