Lawyers for the Lakers star have asked Goldin Auctions to halt plans to sell memorabilia from his high school days and early career. Kobe claimed that he never gave his mother, Pamela, permission to sell some of his memorabilia from his basketball career, some of which dates back to his high school days. ”I never told my mother that she could have my personal property, let alone consign it for public auction,” Bryant wrote in the filing. According to NBC Pro Basketball Talk , a judge has temporarily halted the sale of Bryant’s gear until a hearing can take place to figure out exactly what they’re going to do.
