Watt wore a Craig Biggio jersey to a press conference as a tribute to the former Houston Astros star, who fell just short of making the baseball Hall of Fame on Wednesday. “I’m disappointed he didn’t make the Hall of Fame,” Watt said. “He was a great, great player,” Watt said. We were tipped off that Sydney was at last weekend’s wild card game with teammate Jenny Johnson and J.J. Watt’s brother. Walmart and Houston Texans’ tight end Owen Daniels made the holidays a little brighter for 100 Houston-area children and their families. A select group of patients from Texas Children’s Hospital, Memorial Hermann Memorial and Ronald McDonald House along with their families were invited to the newest Walmart store in Houston for Operation North Pole, a program of the Owen Daniels’ Catching Dreams Foundation. Each family received a $100 Walmart gift card, a bag full of groceries to prepare a traditional holiday meal and family picture with Santa. Families also had the chance to meet Houston tight end, Owen Daniels, and receive an autographed football. Classy move by a classy tight end.-TO
