Former NASCAR racer Kyle Petty, Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker and Texas Motor Speedway President and General Manager Eddie Gossage signed autographs for fans after making the first stop on the 18th annual Petty Charity Ride Across America, a seven-day trek across 2,500 miles. The trio will ride their motorcycles for charity. Herschel can probably run it and be cool. -TO

Herschel Walker celebrated after beating Scott Carson in a Strikeforce heavyweight mixed martial arts fight in San Jose, California last night..The former football great won by technical knock out in the first round. “I’m still a young fighter, still getting better,” Walker said in the post-fight press conference. “Scott is young too, so it ain’t like I did anything special. One thing I want to do is get back into AKA, get back into training, and just see where it goes from there.” When it comes to Herschel, age is really just a number..”Everyone talks about my age, and let’s put that to rest. If you’ve got a 20-year-old who wants to run me in a [40-yard dash], I’ll run him. If you’ve got a 20-year-old who wants to beat me in basketball, I’ll beat him. …Age don’t really matter to me. I'm getting sleepy T..I need another fight..hook me up..

Former Football star Herschel Walker got a taste of MMA back in January and now he’s craving more..Walker stopped Hungarian fighter Greg Nagy in the third round in January to win his MMA debut. “My last fight I never showed any standup. Greg wanted to go to the ground, and I still thank Greg for giving me an opportunity to fight,” Walker said. With Walker’s advanced age of 47 no one in their right mind wants to step in the ring with him.. “Most of these guys in this sport have nothing to gain by fighting me. Greg did step up and give me an opportunity,” Walker said. “My next opponent, we don’t know who that is. Whoever gives me an opportunity to fight then, I’m going to thank them as well.” I hope Herschel gets another fight…let the old man compete..-TO
