Just when you thought things couldn’t possibly get any worse for the Cubs, their best player is now being accused of sexual assault — Here’s the scoop from CBS Chicago, “Chicago Cubs shortstop Starlin Castro has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman after a night of drinking last fall. As WBBM Newsradio’s Mike Krauser reports exclusively, the alleged victim is a Chicago woman in her 20s. No criminal charges have been filed, but Castro is reportedly wanted for questioning by Chicago Police.” So they finally get rid of the locker room cancer that is Carlos Zambrano, and boom, another black eye for the loveable losers. -TO

The biggest scapegoat of all time will be featured in tonight’s documentary Catching Hell…ESPN Films uses sports documentaries to look at mass culture, and tonight’s Catching Hell, about Cubs fan Steve Bartman, presents a terrifying story of mass hysteria and media goading…So I just figured today is kind of Steve Bartman’s day. Already screened this doc, and it’s fantastic…Must watch. -TO
