Brian Urlacher announced his retirement from the NFL after 13 seasons yesterday, ending his career where it started, as a Chicago Bear. It won’t be too long before Urlacher gets his ticket to the Hall. Shortly after he retired, Urlacher ran into this fan, who to me, doesn’t look like much of a football fan. It’s the beard.-TO

Chicago Bears receiver Earl Bennett hosted a fundraising dinner in Chicago the other night. All proceeds from the event benefited Bennett’s Legends for Literacy, a charitable organization that provides technology and resources to increase the literacy proficiency rate in after-school programs in Chicago. The former The Hills star has registered for gifts at homeware store Williams-Sonoma, where she listed the couple’s wedding date as July 13th, 2013 — Funny thing is, the previous year’s wedding is still also listed. Kristin Cavallari headed to the Von Maur store in Yorktown Center mall in Lombard, Illinois to promote some new shoe line. She posed for photos while fiancée and Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler waited in the wings. We’re being told Cutler made his appearance to walk her out and then left immediately.
