Retired NBA point guard Kenny Anderson was charged with leaving the scene of an accident over the weekend after Miramar police say his Cadillac Escalade crashed into two trees — No one was injured, Miramar police said, and Anderson was charged with the misdemeanor offense after the early evening crash. The southpaw left the scene on foot, according to police…For some reason I keep picturing him grabbing a ball out of his trunk, and dribbling all the way home..Kenny Anderson was flat out nasty on the court. -TO

Everyone is always saying how the Patriots only employ high ‘character’ guys…I guess we can throw that out the window…Here is the mugshot of Pats little used wide receiver Julian Edelman–Edelman was arrested for allegedly reaching under a woman’s Halloween costume and groping her…Of course he pleaded not guilty…If his eyes tell a story, they say I got really messed up and made some serious mistakes. Sources are reporting that Rider was arrested for assaulting his fiance…Rider, who has played for the Los Angles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets is no stranger to getting in trouble with the law.. Houston Astros outfielder Jordan Schafer was arrested in Tampa early this morning and charged with a felony count of possession of marijuana, according to arrest reports…The report said Schafer had a marijuana joint in his left hand, and a search of the vehicle found a “clear plastic container containing a green leafy substance” which tested positive as marijuana…If it looks like weed, and smells like weed, there’s a good chance it’s weed. Hey, give the kid a break, it’s his offseason. -TO

Two-time NBA all-star Marcus Camby of the Portland Trailblazers was arrested on Monday and charged with marijuana possession. Camby was pulled over around midnight while driving a black Porsche because there was a sun screen device blocking the front window, police said. According to the report, Officers detected the smell of marijuana in the car, and Camby gave them permission to search the car. Officers said they found several joints, as well as a small amount of marijuana in a baggie under the front seat….It’s nice to see the lockout has officially started. -TO

Former Boston Red Sox star Manny Ramirez is expected to leave a Broward jail this morning after his bond was set at $2,500 during a court appearance on a domestic battery charge. The recently retired Ramirez has been ordered by the judge to stay away from his wife.Weston Police arrested Ramirez Monday after wife Juliana Ramirez told officers that he struck her with an open hand on the couple’s bed, according to a police report. Juliana Ramirez told police the blow caused her to hit her head on the headboard of their bed and, fearing the situation would escalate, she promptly called police, the report said…Ramirez told officers his wife hit her head after he grabbed her by the shoulders and ‘shrugged’ her, the report said. The report said red swelling was visible on the left side of Juliana Ramirez’ face, and that a contusion on the back of her head was consistent with her story. Not that he was going anyhow, but his chance of making the Hall of Fame is all but gone. -TO
