Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson has been arrested on charges that he violated probation stemming from an altercation with his now ex-wife, TV reality star Evelyn Lozada.Another hearing was set for June 3. The ex-Miami Dolphins player appeared before a judge on a probation violation. According to wsvn.com Johnson will be booked in the Broward County Jail on a $1,000 bond. Former Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Jimmy Smith has been sentenced to six years in prison in Mississippi for drug possession and weapons charges. According to the Mississippi Department of Corrections’ website, Smith entered the prison system in late March and was recently moved to a facility in Yazoo City. WJXX-TV in Jacksonville, Fla., first reported Smith’s sentence. His tentative release date is listed as Nov. 8, 2018. Sad stuff.-TO

Detroit Lions former receiver Titus young was arrested for third time in a week. Young is accused of breaking into a house in San Clemente, Calif. When police made it to the scene, he fled on foot. He tried to fend off the officers, but he was stopped by the double coverage. He has been charged with burglary, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. Titus will be remembered forever now.-TO

According to the Oakland Press, former Detroit Lions receiver Titus Young was handcuffed a little after midnight for suspicion of DUI and again at about 2:22 p.m. when Young allegedly was trying to retrieve his black Mustang from the tow company yard. He has been charged with burglary in his second arrest after police say he was trying to take back the car that was impounded after his first arrest. Talk about a bad day.-TO

Here’s the scoop via CBS Sports, “The arrest took place early Friday morning in Ada, Okla., where Bryant, after numerous attempts, blew a 0.098 on the breathalyzer, according to the police report. “We are aware of the incident and are now in the process of collecting more information,” Browns vice president of media relations Neal Gulkis said in a statement via the Akron Beacon Journal. “We will not have any further comment.”” The Browns aren’t very good at this whole ‘put a football team together’ thing.-TO
