He also could be responsible for the Fight that never happened. I’m pretty sure Dana White wasn’t meeting him for drinks.-TO

Bob Arum is offering to promote a Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight, under normal promotional terms — The hitch is he also wants a share of Mayweather’s money — My guess is he knows this is a non-negotiable for Team Money. “Right now there’s no development. Obviously we’re waiting to hear from the Mayweather people. But we’re prepared to do the fight in May. … It will be late in May. But the problem remains the same in that no one from Mayweather’s side would guarantee his purse. “I can only guarantee Manny’s purse, but if Floyd wants to make a deal with me then I’m open to that. I can guarantee his purse but I then I will have a share in his revenue.” said Arum — This fight is looking less and less likely to happen by the day. -TO

It’s no secret UFC Head Honcho Dana White and famous boxing promoter Bob Arum don’t see eye to eye… Recently, Arum added more fuel to the fire when Arum commented to ESPN about the UFC’s new broadcasting deal with the FOX network…Dana White stopped by SiriusXM Radio’s Opie and Anthony to respond, and unleash his fury on Arum. “The bottom line is: Bob, you weren’t smart enough to do what we (Zuffa) did. The other thing about Bob and all these boxing guys is they’re greedy, fat pigs that take everything that they can get out of the sport of boxing and don’t invest a dime back into it. Nobody did anything to secure the future of boxing. All these pigs, like Arum, do is take money. Take, take, take, take! It’s some big, fat pig, who helped destroy the sport of boxing, saying, ‘Give me more money!’” Said White…. Them sound like fighting words…In a perfect world, boxing and MMA can share the main stage, but as we all know, there’s only one boxing match worth watching (Manny/Floyd)…and MMA is always bringing exciting cards. -TO

How the hell are we ever going to see Manny Pacquiao fight Floyd Mayweather in this lifetime…Why can’t their handlers figure out how to make it happen?? According to legendary boxing promoter Bob Arum, there’s only one man who can git r done. Arum said if Don King promoted Floyd Mayweather Jr., the Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight would be made within one hour. “Don and I would have cut to the essentials. We would’ve worked out the few details and made the fight. Mayweather would do well to go with Don. It would be one of the greatest promotions ever.” Unfortunately for us, Don King is almost 80 years old…I pray I see this fight before I turn 80. -TO

Legendary Boxing promoter Bob Arum thinks very little of MMA…particularly UFC…He believes it’s a matter of color… “I don’t want to demean UFC, because they’ve done a marvelous job of marketing…It’s the same audience over and over,” Arum said Tuesday. “It’s white males, and they have never been able to expand their demographic.” Arum goes on to defend boxing’s appeal over mixed martial arts…”So the future success of UFC is limited. The success of boxing is not, because boxing reaches those groups. The only demographic that boxing has lost is the white, young males, period.” People like violence plain and simple…I don’t care what color, race, or gender you are, people are drawn to violence. -TO
