House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy suggested in an interview that President Barack Obama spends more time “filling out his March Madness brackets” than working on the budget. “How can a president not want to balance the budget? How does he forget what he said? One of his first goals in the first four years was to cut the deficit in half,” McCarthy said on Fox News’ “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.” “Now he doesn’t care. He doesn’t even produce a budget.” McCarthy then suggested that the annual NCAA college basketball tournament was more of a priority to Obama. “I’ll bet you this. I bet you he spends more time filling out his March Madness brackets than he does writing a budget,” McCarthy said. Yes, this is probably true. March Madness is way more exciting than number crunching.-TO

The President of the United States went golfing with Tiger Woods last Sunday and had this to say: “He plays a different game than I do,” Obama told ABC7 San Francisco of Woods. “He’s on another planet.” Tiger spoke about their outing during the recent Accenture Match Play tournament. “Playing with Mr. President was pretty cool,” the World’s most famous golfer said. “He’s just a wonderful person to be around. We won.” We know the Prez is more of a baller than a golfer, but playing with Tiger is definitely something to cherish.-TO
