Miami Dolphins defensive back Jonathon Amaya was arrested early Monday morning on Miami Beach for allegedly choking a taxi driver, according to Miami Beach Police. According to the report, Amaya had flagged the taxi down and asked the driver to be taken to Weston. Vunge said he didn’t go that far but agreed to take him there after Amaya gave him $100 cash up front, the report said. As they drove, Amaya became “aggressive” and Vunge drove back to the spot where he’d picked Amaya up, gave the cash back to him and told him to get out of the cab, the report said. Cabbies sure are a stubborn bunch.-TO

Former WNBA star Chamique Holdsclaw remained in jail Friday morning after a dispute with a woman that allegedly turned violent, Atlanta police said. Chamique Holdsclaw is accused of attacking this Range Rover. According to My Fox Atlanta,”After breaking the driver’s side window, a rear passenger’s window and the rear window, Holdsclaw produced a handgun, fired inside the SUV and fled the scene, the report said. Former Fantasy beast David Boston could face nearly three years in prison for punching a woman last year. According to Palm Beach County prosecutors, Boston, 34, pleaded guilty on Monday to aggravated battery. He faces up to 35 months in prison at a Dec. 7 hearing. Authorities say Boston had been drinking at a Boca Raton home last November when he punched a woman twice in the head, leaving a wound that required 10 stitches. Boston played for the Arizona Cardinals, San Diego Chargers and Miami Dolphins, and at one point, was a fantasy stud. In reality, just a dud.-TO

According to reports, Fisk was also charged with the illegal transportation of alcohol and a lane use violation for crossing over an oncoming lane of traffic. He posted bond Monday night. Former NFL star and fantasy stud, Larry Johnson, has been charged with felony domestic violence after allegedly strangling his ex-girlfriend. She told police at the time of the incident at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas that Johnson choked her to the point of unconsciousness. Johnson has been charged with one count of domestic battery stemming from the incident. He faces up to five years in prison and a $15,000 fine. Another one bites the dust.
