Former NBA player Darius Miles was arrested Wednesday afternoon after allegedly attempting to bring a loaded firearm through security at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. TSA workers identified the weapon through X-ray screening, according to officials. He was booked on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon and the St. Louis County prosecutor’s office will review the case to decide whether charges will be filed. Cincinnati Bengals Cedric Benson was released from jail yesterday after an arrest on an assault charge, the second year in a row he has gotten into trouble in his home state…Travis County sheriff’s spokesman Roger Wade said Benson was arrested in downtown Austin on a misdemeanor count of assault with bodily injury with family violence. Benson attorney Sam Bassett said in a statement the arrest followed “a conflict” between Benson and a male former roommate…According to the docs, Clavens claimed he and Benson “began to talk and argue about their living arrangements when all of the sudden Clavens was struck on the left side of his face with a closed fist thrown by Benson.” “Clavens went on to say that Benson continued to strike him with several more closed fists all over Clavens face resulting in severe injury to his face.” Clavens told police he was experiencing “severe bleeding from the mouth, possible loss of teeth and massive swelling of the left cheek.” Ced Benson needs anger management ASAP. -TO

Current NFL Free Agent and former Chicago Bears running back Garrett Wolfe was arrested early Sunday and charged with retail theft, disorderly conduct, assaulting a police officer and  resisting arrest with violence, according to Miami-Dade County Police Department records and Miami Beach Police detective Juan Sanchez…According to the Sun-Times, ‘‘He became aggressive while being ejected by bouncers, and two off-duty officers were summoned,’’ Sanchez said. ‘‘They gave him the opportunity to settle his bill, and he refused.
