Bud Adams: ‘I guarantee’ NFL will play in 2011 |
Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams said Monday that he guarantees the NFL will emerge from its lockout in time to play the 2011 season. “It’s going to be a few months here, but we’ll be playing this year. I guarantee we’ll be playing,” Adams said, via the Tennessean…Adams was honored on Monday Night with a Lifetime Humanitarian award…”It’s one of those things that (the players) haven’t been very (much) wanting to work out a deal with (the owners),” Adams said. “But we’ll be playing football this year. I’ll tell you that for sure.” Hope the guy isn’t senile…I’d feel much better if someone a lot younger would have made that statement…Like Commissioner Goodell perhaps. -TO
