Alex Rodriguez has not lived up to his mega contracts with the New York Yankees. His production is at an all time low, and once again A-Rod is scheduled for hip surgery, which will sideline him for God knows how long. Our source out of A-Rod’s camp has informed us, Alex is considering hanging it up, depending on how his recovery goes. “Alex is fully aware he has become a huge liability for the Yankees. The benching during this past postseason was a real eye opener for him. He doesn’t want to hold back the Yankees any longer, and he’s made enough money where he feels completely comfortable walking away” said our source.
