Al Pacino to Star in Joe Paterno Biographical Film

ICM Partners has bought the rights to turn Joe Posnanski’s biography “Paterno” into a movie. Legendary actor Al Pacino is already attached to play the legendary coach. The “Godfather” actor’s manager, Rick Nicita, will produce the film. According to sources, a script has not yet been written and no director is attached to the project yet. Pacino’s no stranger to portraying football coaches, as he did in Any Given Sunday. Hopefully this depiction will be a little more realistic.
