Former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling is cleaning out his closet..but he’s leaving his skeletons behind..Curt and his wife Shonda are selling their designer duds to raise some money for Best Buddies charity..Their collection will feature “gently used” clothing, shoes, accessories and handbags from such designers as Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Stuart Weitzman, Diane Von Furstenburg, Nicole Miller, St. John, Chloe and Burberry . “While Curt was playing, we had been to some exciting places and wore some beautiful clothes,” Shonda said. “Now that we are retired, we have no use for them. I had been saving these items for my daughter, but at 13, she already towers over me and the clothes are too short. Like most kids, her feet are bigger then mine already. Former Yankees pitcher Orlando `El Duque” Hernandez is being sued over an investment in a water saving invention..A pair of Miami entrepreneurs have sued El Duque, claiming the former baseball star and his manager attempted to swindle them out of at least $900,000 for their business venture. According to the suit, Hernandez; his manager, Juan Carlos Collar; and companies Collar created loaned the fledgling company money at illegal interest rates and weren’t always clear about whether some of the cash was actually a loan. The inventors say Collar took over the company’s management but instead of bringing in fresh capital, the money he secured was in the form of loans, although the inventors never signed documents indicating that..The invention: a valve designed by Miami residents Juan Carlos Bocos, Fabian Mauricio Barreda and Casio Soares Dasilva in 2007 that compresses and controls air in water lines, aimed at lowering water bills. Only Bocos and Barreda are involved in the suit. `This piece could generate millions and millions in revenue,” said the designers’ lawyer, Luis Delgado. The inventors claim it could reduce water usage by as much as 40 percent…Always interesting when athletes try to invest in things they know nothing about..something always goes wrong. -TO

The Chris Bosh new found celebrity tour continued this past weekend..This time the destination was the Hamptons..Bosh attended a bunch of parties including the Bridgehampton Polo party… Bosh threw the first ball to kick off the polo at the Blue Star Jets field. Fans swarmed the newest king from the Heat…At halftime, he went on the field to replace the divots, and “came back looking worn out because so many people wanted a photo.” Bosh even got to hang with Kourtney Kardashian and Scott disick..Saturday night, Bosh and his girlfriend Adrienne Williams hung with Niche Media CEO Jason Binn, who took the pair on a tour of the Hamptons including the Water mill Summer Benefit..There Bosh chatted it up with Alec Baldwin, and Russell Simmons‘ .. Bosh told us: “It’s my first time in the Hamptons, and it’s even better than I expected.” To put a finish on the weekend Bosh took in a cycling class at SoulCycle in Sag Harbor at 9am..It looks like Bosh is loving the spotlight..-TO
