Talk about a weight off Wade’s chest..A Cook County judge finalized the divorce of Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade and his wife, Siohvaughn this morning, though her attorneys have vowed to appeal. “I feel relieved,” said Wade, dressed in a dark blue pin-striped suit outside of Judge Marya Nega’s courtroom. “It’s been a long, long process and to finally get this part behind us, I feel great, even though we still have more to get done,” added the NBA star..With July 1st approaching, Wade is probably ecstatic that he is free of Siohvaughn..now he can give his girlfriend and children the attention they need..-TO

Los Angeles Lakers Champion Pau Gasol is a good dude..he volunteers his time raising awareness and support for pediatric research and medicine at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.Yesterday, the big man observed a spinal procedure on a 13 year old..Surgeon David Skaggs welcomed Gasol with open arms..and even ordered Pau his own custom fit scrubs..I guess there’s not many seven-foot doctors..gotta love guys like Pau who really do try and make a difference..-TO

Athletes and their celebrity girlfriends seem to be a big hit for TV audiences these days..We have Lamar and Khloe, Hank and Kendra, and now Carmelo Anthony and La La Vazquez..The two have signed on to do a new reality show for VH1..”From ‘Charm School’ to the many reunion specials, I have loved being part of the VH1 family,” Vazquez said in a statement. “And I’m even more excited to share the behind-the-scenes of this very personal event in my life, my wedding, with that family of viewers.” According to VH1, the series will feature La La and Mindy Weiss, the “wedding planner to the stars,” as the two plan the wedding activities…According to my source, Melo wasn’t necessarily down with the idea, but if the show focused on La La he was cool with it..Melo will make his appearances though..he is the one getting married here.. Former Pro Bowl Quarterback Mark Brunell plans to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Friday…and the scary thing is the dude made nearly $52 million during the past 10 years in the NFL..The Southpaw QB faces multiple lawsuits over failed real estate and business loans from a partnership called Champion LLC that included former Jaguars teammates Joel Smeenge and Todd Fordham. “In the end, we couldn’t and I am no longer able to shoulder this burden,” said Brunell, who declined to comment further when reached by the Times-Union on Thursday night..Brunell also invested poorly in several businesses including real estate projects in Traverse City and Grand Rapids.. Those real estate investments failed, and Michigan-based Select Bank won a $1.1 million judgment against Brunell and his partners…Basically he pissed away his money.. “It has reaffirmed what is most important to me — my faith, my family and my friendships,” Brunell said in his statement..Aren’t these guys supposed to have financial advisors??
