The next big thing: edible team logos..The logos, will be available next season for all 30 NBA teams..You might be thinking that doesn’t look kosher…well, the logos will be made of sugar, starch and food coloring…and of course its safe to eat..but be ready to pay a premium to eat your favorite team.. They’ll add about $5 to the overall cost of your pizza..Don’t expect to see the pizza available at Dominos or Pizza Hut either..The edible logos will be available at 1,200 independent pizza parlors nationwide. The paper-thin logos are placed atop the pizza after it has been fully baked and sliced…The logo then melts into the cheese…just another attempt to milk the teet of a Sports fan. -TO

The VH1 show Basketball Wives has shed a not so positive light of the women who are married, engaged or dating Professional athletes..One in particular who’s having a tough time is the wifey of the Orlando Magic’s Matt Barnes..His Baller Wife, Gloria Govan won’t be returning for a second season of the show..In an Interview with Honey Magazine she said “I wasn’t really happy with how they portrayed us, and that was most disappointing. When I originally signed up to do the show, I was told it was supposed to be about independent women trying to step outside of the shadows of their significant others.” Gloria also has a difficult time dealing with the stereotypes that are associated with baller’s wives..There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t hear that people think I’m a gold digger, or think I’m with Matt for his money, or that I’m uneducated and that we don’t do anything with ourselves.” I really can’t sympathize with her..Baller chicks are baller chicks..and they’re usually bad news.-TO

Donovan McNabb just bought a new $2.1 million dollar home..and to chap Philly fans everywhere he used two moving trucks with the Eagles logo and “Mover of Philadelphia Eagles” labels..The McNabbalicious house has 5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms and is located in Great Falls, a favorite neighborhood of Redskins players. “I’ve always been active in the community wherever I’ve lived, and I’m looking forward to continuing that tradition in the D.C. area,” McNabb said. “Buying a house and putting down roots is my first step toward doing all that, and I’m excited about what I’ve seen of my new neighborhood so far” Now that Don is settled, he wants to do one thing..”Being here in D.C., there’s only one thing I want to start by doing: Get an invite to play basketball with Obama and all of his buddies,” McNabb said in a taped interview last month…Don’t worry Donovan, that will be the first thing on the President’s agenda. -TO
Baseball can be slow at times..so there’s plenty of food and beer to help speed the game along..but nothing seems to be more entertaining than a squirrel running around a field..unless of course he’s water skiing..Yes, An aggressive squirrel stole the show during yesterday’s Twins-Yankees game. The squirrel joined the Twins defense at the top of the 4th inning. Our favorite sideline reporting princess Erin Andrews ended up finishing third in Dancing with the Stars..but first in all of our hearts..and as a consolation prize, a Russian boyfriend…Olympic Figure Skater Evan Lysacek finished in second place..Lysacek made an estimated $350,000 for doing the show..so overall the sports people fared very well in this seasons Humping with the Stars..can’t wait to see who’s on next years edition…til next year..Thank God!
