Irene Folstrom, former Tiger College Sweetheart pleads guilty to DWI

One day after she was scheduled to appear on Sunday’s CBS Early Show Irene Folstrom, Tiger’s Stanford sweetheart, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving. Folstrom pleaded guilty Wednesday in Beltrami County District Court before Judge John Melbye to third-degree DWI. According to the Bemidji Pioneer, Folstrom failed field sobriety tests and was taken to the Beltrami County Law Enforcement Center. Her license was expired, but she had no prior convictions or alcohol-related loss of license. The maximum sentence for third-degree DWI – refusal to test is one year in jail and a $3,000 fine..I call it the Tiger Effect..all of his lovers past and present are feeling the sting.. -TO
