LeBron James’ fans were less than impressed by the NBA star’s behavior at Tuesday’s release party for the Interscope soundtrack to his documentary, “More Than a Game.” The Cleveland Cavaliers forward rolled into Marquee more than three hours late and immediately sequestered himself in VIP with his 50-person entourage. Says one guest, “LeBron was unbelievably rude. He was mean to everyone who tried to talk to him and threw temper tantrums when things weren’t going his way.” At least the player showed his sweet side to famous folk like Mary J. Blige and Akon before he jetted. — NY Daily News

Dude was outside Katsuya last night, where he said he wouldn’t do it because it’d break his mama’s heart to see her sons fight each other. TMZ has learned exactly how the love story between Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom began — and it all started with a bar tab around $3,000. It all went down on August 27th, when Khloe was hosting a “Welcome to LA” party for brand new Laker, Ron Artest, at Halo in Hollywood.  Khloe ran up one hell of a bill that night … and for some reason, Lamar decided to cover the whole thing — after all, cash money is the ultimate aphrodisiac. A source extremely close to Khloe confirmed the whole story, telling us, “At first, she wasn’t going to do the event … but she literally met her husband there. And yes, he paid for everything.” And there’s no question — Lamar definitely got what he paid for. For the record, K and L will be tying the knot exactly one month after they hit it off! -TMZ

Quarterback Peyton Manning called a pregame audible Monday that surprised even his coach. “I did a pretty good job of keeping it quiet. I didn’t tell anybody that he was coming,” Manning said of his guest, Tiger Woods, who wore a blue shirt and watched the 27-23 victory at Miami from the Indianapolis Colts sideline. “I had to tell the boss man he was coming to get him a sideline pass.” The “boss man” was owner Jim Irsay, not coach Jim Caldwell. Manning is the face of the Colts, even the NFL. Woods is the most recognizable face in sports. Word of his presence gradually spread on the sideline. – Indy Star

Evander Solarfield? Evander “the green deal” Holyfield? Could be. Atlanta’s former heavyweight boxing champion says he plans to build a solar energy farm on 40 acres of his property in Fayette County. The project, which is in the preliminary stages, would generate solar power for commercial sale, and would take six to nine months to complete, according to Deborah Pointer, who says she helped put the deal together for Holyfield. “I’ve never had a problem being lean,” Holyfield said, “now I’m the lean, green fighting machine.” Holyfield said his motivation for the project is “to do something right,” by helping to combat global warming. – Atlanta Journal-Constitution
