Three friends and co-workers of the woman accusing Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger of sexual assault have testified that, based on their conversations with her, they believed the sex was consensual. The co-workers, two of whom have been named as defendants in the lawsuit, also said they did not report the encounter to superiors at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, where the woman worked, because the hotel would have fired her for violating a policy forbidding employees to visit guests in their rooms. – Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Brett Favre must figure on staying awhile. Deanna Favre, the wife of the Vikings’ new quarterback, was loading up on household items, including towels and bed linens, at Eden Prairie’s Kohl’s store the other day. Last weekend, Favre had a new, fully loaded Ford F250 pickup truck delivered to him. Kohl’s, by the way, is based in Wisconsin, so the former Green Bay Packers great has at least kept that loyalty. Favre’s two-year contract with the Vikings is for $25 million, but he’s expected to play this season only. His first-year deal is for $12 million, which is to be paid in $4 million installments. Favre’s contract this year is a straight $12 million deal, with no performance incentives. – Pioneer Press
I saw Brett as more of a mini cooper guy, being that he is such a flip flopping pussy. -TO

According to FOX411, the couple isn’t over with their relationship and is hoping to patch things up by taking it slowly. An inside source told the publication that the star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and the NFL celebrity are really close to a reconciliation. “Kim has shifted her schedule for the next three weeks so they can be together, in New Orleans,” the insider revealed. “Reggie is training, and Kim will stay in the house he asked her to move into before they broke up. R eggie is doing his best to convince Kim to give him another shot. They spent last weekend together, holed up at his house, only going out publicly to Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse on Monday. Kim had a hotel room, but she hardly stayed in it.” The signs are pointing to an actual Bush-Tush reunion, which is great news for the Kardashian family. They’ve been hoping Reggie and Kim would get back together soon, as many admired their relationship. With all their fans relying on them, in addition to their true feelings for each other, these two really have to push through with their romance. “Kim will have to bend a little, but Reggie wants her back, so he’ll probably concede the most,” the source went on. “Kim still has strong feelings for Reggie – there is a lot of love still between them.” -Fox 411

Ochocinco said after Thursday night’s preseason game that he plans to take up boxing. “[W]hen I get in the ring and knock out [welterweight champ Andre] Berto, and people are like, ‘I didn’t know Chad could fight,’ I just told you,” Ochocinco said. His desire to box comes from the fact that he included it in his training regimen during the 2009 offseason. And he’s not worried about whether his plan to box competitively will violate his contract — even though it clearly will. “I don’t care,” Ochocinco said. “I’ll take the fine. Whatever I earn, I’ll give it to [Bengals owner] Mike [Brown].” – Pro Football Talk
